Born and raised in Colorado, Penn moved to Kailua-Kona in 2001 with an affinity for the Big Island’s natural beauty, warm climate, stunning beaches, and massive volcanic mountains. His Rocky Mountain roots have thrived in Hawaii, where endless adventures, explorations, and new discoveries have become an essential part of Penn’s daily life.

Over the years, Penn has developed extensive knowledge and appreciation for the Big Island, as well as a deep understanding of its diverse climates, various topographies, Hawaiian culture, and the unique communities that make it such a special place to live.

Penn and his wife, Rani, embrace spending time with their two boys and have been an integral part of the Big Island community for decades. Highly involved with local sports and events, the Henderson family can almost always be found enjoying any number of activities such as biking, running, swimming, hiking, or playing soccer.

After graduating from Business School at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Penn embarked upon an extensive career in Sales & Marketing at various companies including Volant Sports, Mauna Lani Resort, and Fair Wind Cruises. His accumulation of digital expertise, creative marketing, financial acumen, and strategy IQ provides clients with the utmost professionalism and competency.
